POH Reader

    Short version: POH Reader does not collect, transmit or store any personal data.
    Your PDF manuals stay entirely on your device. Nothing is uploaded to any server.
  

1. Who we are

POH Reader is developed and maintained by Alessio Tedone. If you have any questions about this privacy policy, please contact us at tedone.alessio@gmail.com.

2. What data we collect

POH Reader collects no personal data whatsoever. Specifically:

We do not collect your name, email address, or any contact information.
We do not collect location data.
We do not collect usage analytics or crash reports.
We do not use advertising SDKs or tracking technologies.
We do not collect or process the contents of your PDF files.

3. Your PDF files

When you upload a PDF (such as a POH or AFM), the file is stored locally on your device only using the device's built-in storage. Your files are never transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party.

4. In-App Purchase

POH Reader offers a one-time PRO upgrade. All purchase transactions are handled exclusively by Apple through the App Store. We do not process, store or have access to any payment information. Apple's privacy policy applies to all transactions: apple.com/legal/privacy.

5. Text-to-Speech

The Read Aloud feature uses Apple's on-device speech synthesis (AVSpeechSynthesizer). No text from your manuals is sent to any external service. All processing happens entirely on your device.

6. Local storage

POH Reader stores the following data locally on your device:

Your uploaded PDF files (in device storage)
App preferences such as theme, reading speed, and unlock status
Reading progress (current page)

This data never leaves your device and can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the app.

7. Children's privacy

POH Reader is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
